'Deployment'
Travel to 'Down Under' for the fourth and final celebration in the 'Year of Cheryl' ... wedding parties reveling in the marriage of 'daughter 2 of 3' to Chris, our Aussie son in law.
A nearly 22,000 mile round trip of approximately 19 - 20 hours flying time each way... plus another 5 - 6 hours of sitting and waiting in an airport club or at a gate. Ah...would have been a relatively uncomfortable experience were it not for my ‘loverly’ traveling companion who kept me entertained and our ‘global’ first class flight accommodations … courtesy of $18,000 worth of tickets for only 300,000 frequent flyer points. Nice to see how some of my business travel literally paid off :)
